My CID had this call coming from SWITZERLAND! The scammers were able to arrange the numbers so that at first glance it looks like it’s a number from a foreign country. But, if you look at the number closely you can see that it’s a regular American phone number out of Ohio. Last week I received a call from “Switzerland”, but it was an entirely different number. That number came across on my CID exactly as follows: +41 98 632 96 3 Did I mention that I really REALLY hate scammers and any other person who tries to separate innocent people from their hard earned money?! Grrrrr!
calls and asks for someone else then wants to know to whom they are speaking to......
When I answered it said your number has been successfully added. Then it hung up. I'm not sure what it was or what?
A recorded message that says "Your number has been recorded to our Do Not Call Registry, Thank you and have a nice day." I am not sure why this call took place but I think its to see if its a valid number.
