Two calls from this suspected scammer. Using a different number but same area code and same 845. In this case, 429-845-6462. Could be using a burner phone to make these type of calls. Calls: 1 his caller started a text conversation expressing an interest in my item advertised on GGG. He pasted in the entire title of the item which is more than what a normal person would do when starting a conversation like this. It seemed odd from the start. During the conversation, I searched the phone number and found it to be in Ohio but yet my item is in Mississauga Ontario Canada, so I wondered why he wasn't close by. He never gave me his name but when I asked him where he was, he said he was in Montreal, Quebec, Canada He (as with another larger) also offered $600 to have the item shipped to him sigt-unseen. He wanted to pay with a banker's cheque. I gave him two options, cash or e-transfer and he was unwilling to do either. 2 Most recently, you started the conversation exactly the same way, inquiring about and then pasting in the entire KGG title of the item which I still haven't sold. He must have forgotten that he tried this two months ago with me. This time, he said he had arranged with somebody to come and pick up the item. I asked for the name of the person picking up the item and he gave me I made up name that likely doesn't even exist. He wanted to buy it based on an insurance from me that it is in excellent shape and he would not be disappointed once he buys it. As before, he insisted that he wanted to pay for it right away but this time, he wanted to do a PayPal transfer. He requested my full name and address and email address. I told him that my phone number was sufficient to send a transfer but he insisted on having my full email address, full name and street address. He also insisted he would send the money immediately to pay for the item which is worth $1,500.00. That's a lot of money to pay for something sight unseen. I sent him links to the PayPal instructions on how to send payments to a mobile phone number and The information that is required - specifically only the mobile number. He got angry with that and told me that I could keep the item. Haha, I said no, I will be selling the item to a legitimate buyer. I offered to speak with him by telephone but he did not respond. So, from the first call, I was already suspicious and therefore very careful. He still does not even have my name. Just my phone number and a Kijiji ad.
