Trying to sell advertising for UVA supposedly. Calls repeatedly
Ask for the owners names and said he was with UVA but wouldn't give us what department or anything. Just updating records.
They try to sell ads in UVA sports programs targeted to contractors who have worked for UVA. They advertise a special section "Building for the future". They buy pages from UVA and charge contractors 5 times their cost. It's best to go to UVA sports directly. This is a scam.
This guy is a tool and rude. He calls all the time with the same line that he is from UVA. SCAM SCAM SCAM !
Just called our firm asking to speak to the president. He said his name was Tony Scherer from UVA.
Called my firm asking for the Attorney who has the closest ties to the University of Virginia. I asked him to send me an email to let me know what it is he wants and then I can forward it on to whomever could help him. He asked who would that be, I said I had 20 attorneys and that all depends on what he wants. He said he would do more research on his end and then call back. Dude is persistent.
Keeps calling and says he works for UVA, I'm not calling back. Said his name was "Matt Kelly" and was calling "in regards to the University of Virginia" had a real salesman tone to his voice.
SCAM caller who says they work for UVA. He, of course, does not and he is rude.
SCAM - this person has called multiple times pretending to work for UVA and asking for the owner of the company.
CALLS SEVERAL TIMES A DAY TO A KNOWN BUSINESS NUMBER. ASKS FOR OWNER. TELL CALLER OWNER IS NOT AVAILABLE AND HE WILL CALL BACK MULTIPLE TIMES A DAY. REFUSES TO LEAVE MESSAGE FOR OWNER.
