Number has called me twice stating they are in a Financial Department with the Government in Washington (doesn't state what branch or department) looking for my husband. They are telling us to call another number 844-563-6374 ext 3005 or they will be calling his employer.
Caller-ID shows: SUDDENLINK Calls multiple times each week. Does not leave message.
Lady acted like we had an acct with Spectrum, after I explained that we don't & we keep getting unwanted calls from them & someone actually came by the office, she hung up on me!
Called saying they were from Spectrum, asked to speak to whoever handles our phone or internet (? I forget) account. Suspecting telemarketer, I asked if they were calling about an existing account they had with us. She evaded so I asked again, and she said it was above her pay grade, she would know that. So I asked what was the purpose of her call, and she didn't answer that, and instead asked me was the person not available who handles the account. So I asked her was this a sales call to drum up new business and she made a quick thanks I'll call back another time kind of crap and hung up.
Called twice around 7:20 p.m. Oregon time in two days. From Frisco, Tx. Didn't answer call.
Just got the call. Something about Lowe's purchases. Hard to understand him as he had a very strong ascent. I just hung up.
This same number called me at the same time, so far, two days in a row: at 8:35pm Arizona time. I don't answer calls I'm not expecting, especially late at night, so it seems strange this one keeps buzzing me. I'm considering acting like I'm mentally unbalanced tomorrow and answering.

I work for these guys, it's SpectrumVoIP (not the same company as Spectrum Business, which offers tv-phone-internet bundles). We pretty much set appointments to get free quotes for the company, which does business phones and internet. It could be considered Telemarketing perhaps? But it's for a legit company: www.spectrumvoip.com
