Received a call from this number saying they were the collecting donations for the police force. I asked if they could provide a website and if so, I'd be happy to donate. The caller just kept pushing saying they take contributions over the phone only. Hung up after they kept pushing and repeating themselves.

Got a call from this obvious scammer asking for donations for "Police force". Sorry but our local police force has never heard of such organization. How do these people jeep getting my cellphone number, I'm on the DoNotCall list . Please STOP these people. I'm tired of getting unwanted calls from telemarketers

This number called me at 8pm. I picked up the phone as it was local area code and I was waiting for a call. I heard, "Hello? Hi this is John calling from "the American Police Officers Alliance". How are you?" in a really grating "greasy" voice. I hung up right away since it's obviously some guy looking to steal your money for some "charity organization". I googled the organization name and surprise, surprise many others got the same call with exactly same wording, and even the time of call.
