Claimed to be calling for The Fire Fighter Alliance and wanted $100.00 mailed to them.When I asked where they were out of he had no answer .When I asked where was the corporate office he stated Alexandria, Va which is correct But unbeknown to him I had already googled and found the info online stating it was a fraud from the Dade country police dept scam from way back in may 2018 still going on and while they is A Fire fighters alliance the money would not be going to them but somewhere else entirely. I said thank you I will go online and send money and he quickly said oh no we only accept thru direct money mailed to us -nothing spells scam faster than that . Ended the call letting him know he wasn't scamming me.
