Megan scam, left voice message pretending to be federal loan forgiveness officer.
Got a phone call and accidentally missed it. Listened to the voicemail and heard "Megan" speaking. Called back, but googled while I was on hold because it seemed fishy. Glad I did and saw this. The number she called in on was 725-223-9088 said Nevada, but number to call back was 501-274-0454 in Arkansas. I almost fell for it because I've been waiting to hear about my student loans. Woops. Feel stupid.
Just got a call from Megan for my student loan forgiveness. Looked up the number and seen all these messages about it being a scam. I'm so glad I looked up the number before calling her back.
Also a scam from Megan with forgiving student loans. call came from 877-374-5728 but had this phone number as the callback number
Student loan forgiveness program scam. I tend to get calls from "Megan" every so often. She sounds like a real person unlike the automatic robotic ones. It's a scam.
