Said they were from SBC Global and that my account had been hacked by foreign agents and had my IP address. They convenced me to scan my PC thru their server to clean my PC. After they had control of my PC they told me not to touch my pc while their software was running. I immediately checked their phone number on my wife's telephone and realized that I was being scammed. I immediately turned my PC off. Later they tried calling me, but I blocked their phone number on my phone. I ran McAfee scan and found that they had hacked my email account. I checked my program files and they didn't have time to install any of their programs yet. I think I caught their scam just in time. Do not ever accept a phone call from someone claiming your computer is infected. Do not let them have your IP numbers
