The woman on (recorded line, she said) was rude and asked for someone who doesn't work here and repeated, I said "Willis" in a hostile tone after I repeated the wrong name. THEY CONTINUE TO CALL AND ask for same person. RUDE ASF
They have been calling my cell phone now everyday for the last 3 weeks for debt collection for a Ms. Smith. Each time they call with a different phone number to get past my phone block. It sounds kind of hokey and I will not answer the call as I believe they are trying to get my name and match it to the number as well as other info if they could get it.They end up providing a recorded message to my voice mail each time.
This number has called REPEATEDLY. They have called my work and family and friends all over the state. They represent themselves as student loan collectors, bill collectors, verifying employment etc. A different story every time and then interrogate everyone I know for personal information about me (phone number, address, even asking for my social security number.
Get a recorded message. In the middle of the message, it stops & the name "Mrs. Smith" is inserted by a voice that is different from the rest of the recorded message. They say to call back at an 800 number which I didn't make note of. They claim to be a collection agency. Trick is, I don't have any debts.
