They are a police scam. They just got me for $1300…. I’m now broke. The funds are spent by the scammer and can’t be retrieved. The police will never ask you for money. Also, god please help me, I’m now broke.
Left a voicemail asking for a call-back saying it was the Sheriff’s department but most of the audio was cutting out so I couldn’t hear any of the reason why they’d call, and the audio picked back up to give me this number and request I call them back. I’ve called 3 times; there was no answer and no outgoing message on the machine. Typing it into Google, it seems this is some type of robocall.
