88 year old mom was scammed by these assholes. Downloaded the "lock pc" on her laptop. I've spent several days attempting to restore her machine.
Scam saying I was a publisher's clearing house winner for 5.5 million and a "Porche automobile" Caller had a strange accent. call was listed as coming from Wantagh, NY. The number left to call back was different.
"Jenny Wilson" Tried to get access to computer. Had called elderly neighbor who needed tech support for her tablet. Returned call to "Jenny" who kept trying to get access to a computer via internet. even though tech support was supposedly for tablet.
This was a scam call. They were posing as reps of Publishers Clearing house telling me I won 650,000 dollars.
