Got unwanted call from 518-375-3729?
At first the lady just kept saying my name asking if it was me. I said "You called me, so who are you?" She said Maureen or something, and went back to saying my name. I said "No what company are you with?" But she wouldn't say. When I told her I was hanging up then she took me seriously. They are Portfolio Recovery she finally admitted to me. Then she rattled off part of my social security number and wanted me to verify it was mine. I told her "Oh no, I never give out my SS number over the phone, that's phishing!" So then she asked if this was my address, and began saying it. I said "No, that's still personal information, and I don't give it out over the phone." So I asked what her company does, but she wouldn't say. When I began to ask again she loudly talked over me repeating if this was my address. So I was fed up and said "No, I'm done. Bye." And hung up on her.
