Called asking for a person who is deceased - when I told them the person was deceased she was rude and told me I was the person they were asking for and saying someone was dead was not funny. Seriously, the person is deceased and we get 20 calls a day like this.
As the call was coming in I looked up the number that I did not recognize. When I saw where it was coming from, I know that I do not know anyone who lives in that area. When my machine kicked in, the caller proceeds to say my name as if he was someone who knew me...again, I did not recognize the voice. He continues to say my name trying to get me to pick up so he can start his scam or whatever. He hung up after saying my name about 4 or 5 times on the machine.
Just got a call. When they couldn't say my name properly, I told them not to call again. Then they told me I could no longer bring my specific make and model car to the Chrysler dealer ever again!
Received another Warranty renewal call, they knew my name, address and vehicle I drive. Claimed to be with Chrysler and said the law required I renew this coverage and started badgering me for my credit card information. I hung up after that and tried to call the number back... it plays a little music of sorts for a few seconds and then just goes silent. It appears to be yet another scam phishing for personal information and your credit card number.
Asked for my dad, and then immediately hung up when I said "he wasn't here right now, could I take a message".
I am on the do not call list and this number is calling me. It's a scam.

Nasty woman, sounded drunk, insisted on my name "before I can say more". I blocked the number after that.
