"Portfolio" debt collector lost a multi-million dollar law suit in 2020 for these fraudulent phone calls to collect what is known as "zombie" accounts i.e. resurrected time-barred old debts and sometimes debts never incurred by present owners of phone numbers on their old files. They're doing it again. Do not answer calls and do report them to FTC as well as your State Attorney General Office.
