I have gotten several texts from 1-562-999-9549. Any suggestion on how to remove it?
I never have used or gotten McAfee. Is a scam/fraud. Do not answer. I received an email supposedly from Macafee with this phone number. I don’t even have Macafee and they had a customer name if Doug Pizzi. Not me
email claiming to be AcAfee antivirus free trial running out and going to start charging my credit card $230.00 per month. Never signed up for trial.
Called this number. African sounding man answered. When I told him I didn't have an account with McAfee, he told me that they already charged my bank account for 230.00 and that the anti-virus was on my computer. I told him he was a lie, McAfee wasn't on my computer, asked him how did he get my name and email address and that this is fraud and stealing of information and I wanted his name supervisor's name and address. He hung up.
I just received an email from McAfee, and I don't have them for my home computer either. I just deleted that email.
