Thus number called my elderly mother asking for personal information. My son heard it and yelled, "stop giving out information!" And the lady hung up.
They are trying to record you saying the word "yes." The first thing they say is: "I'm so and so calling on a recorded line." They immediately ask "Can you hear me ok?" Of course you can and you answer "YES." They now have your voice recorded saying "YES" to whatever they screw you with! ANYTIME you hear "recorded line" HANG UP!!!
