Said DEA was involved in a car of drugs and blood rented in my name ditched at the Texas border, they wanted all my money
Did not answer. Let answering machine pick up. Asked for me by first name then man hung up.
called home line and said my SS# had been use in Texas border to use for illegal drugs under my name. It was clear that this call was a scam just to get me to send money to clear my name.
Said I had illegal drugs and they used my SS#.... kept them on the line for 30 minutes with bogus information and had fun with them...at the end he apologized and said if I send him money to help feed his family that would be good; I told him he should have said that up front and I would have....oh well...honesty pays better than lies...in my humble opinion... :)
Claiming I was involved in illegal activity, found a call full of drugs registered in my name. Ended up being a scam to get money
Fake officer called and said a car with our name attached was used in a drug bust. They had the last 4 of one of our social security numbers which is concerning
Claims to be an investigator for social security administration. Says your identity was used for bank fraud, money laundering. Uses the names Robert and Jayden.
I received a call from " as department" the "impersonated officer" told me that someone used my as number and was involved in drug related crime. I foolishly trusted in it. Then he told me that they need to suspend my social security number, and someone will call me about detains. The gave me this number and I see it's already reported. Do someone against this scam, please!

Same Texas/Drugs/ Blood call. I asked him how much $ he got from the Scam and he said 25% of what ever they got. I told him that he called a phone number specifically designed to catch scammers and his voice was recorded and would be matched when his call center was raided by his local police.
