I got a call from this same number claiming to represent firefighters and thank me for previous donations (which I do not remember doing) and asked that I contribute to the new years donation request. It was a friendly sounding call, but also sounded very memorized. After looking up the number it appears the Voip ID is a complete phony. I do not believe it is an actual charity.
Called today wanting me to do mailing for local fire fighters. Thanked me profusely for my previous support (have not done anything for them in the past.) Would not take no for an answer, even when I told him I was going out of town on Monday. I finally had to hang up as you could not interrupt him.
