Same crap. My ss was being used in Texas. When I told him who he was looking for he asked my name that's when I hung up.

This caller said she was in Texas, but sounded like a calling center in India. It was a rude lady who threatened to call me everyday until I complied to her demands.
Got the same phone call. I had a friend scammed out of $6500 earlier this year with the same scam :( I let the guy talk and I gave him fake info, blah blah blah!
just got the call. said my SS benefits were being cancelled because of criminal activity in Texas.
