They asked for my real life name then proceeded to hang up. No ring when i immediately called back.
Caller had the first and last name tied to my Comcast/Xfinity account. Identified themselves as "calling on behalf of Xfinity" and stated they had "great news" in the form of an offer. I asked them to clarify whether they were Xfinity or if they were a different company calling on _behalf_ of Xfinity. To his credit, he confirmed that they were a separate company. DO NOT GIVE THESE FOLKS YOUR INFORMATION, NOR CONFIRM YOUR NAME.
Said it was Xfinity but they didn't have proper information, and lied about some of the information they had ("you told me you steam Hulu and Netflix", I did not). Looks like their trying to get additional information.

what everyone else said. i'm pretty sure these people are lying. if they send an xfinity code to your phone, do not reveal what that is to them. you should only do that if you are calling xfinity directly.
