These people got my work place information from LINKED IN and solicited me at work.\
Had a missed call from number 613-281-3831. Looking to see if it was a scammer.
The dumbass who called actually thought he could scam me into paying for a convention my company never signed up for - the scammers are complete idiots.
Computer fraud saying if I didn't call back, my account would be charged $299.99. They say they are from my computer maintenance office.
this number calls over and over and its a fax machine beep every time. Ive blocked them on my phone and their call still gets through.
keeps calling, does not leave a message. When I call the number back it says "This number is not assigned"
call came to my mobile no asking me to press one. I did not do it . do not press any
multiple calls in 12 hours. Fax tone... so annoying! When I call back it's the J2Global abuse report line. Seriously?
My daughter in law, a native of Guatemala had an incoming from this # claiming to be the IRS. Told her she owed $10K and would be arrested if she did not contact them. Little did she know this was a scam until AFTER the fact. Talked with them 40 minutes ~ Had a $24 charge on Verizion bill. They covered $20 of the charge, but warned NEVER call an out of area # unless you know WHO you are calling.
Says they are going to have an arrest warrant issued as i have committed tax fraud. Complete scam.
Showed as a missed call on my telephone. Called the number and got a recorded message in Spanish by a female. Nuisance call. Will report this tp the National Do Not Call Registry. However, being of Canadian origin, I do not know what recourse there may be in the United States.
