several calls; at least once a day. No voicemail. I usually ignore them, but finally picked up and heard white noise in the background. I said nothing, the person on the other line stayed quiet, and hung up. Called back: won't answer and mailbox is full.
Robocall claiming to be the IRS stating that I had "committed fraud" and they were "issuing a warrant" for my arrest and "filing a lawsuit" against me. It is obviously a scam since the IRS doesn't call like that, would either have me arrested or file a lawsuit (not both), and they wouldn't use a robocall to make contact.
619-317-0843 - Message said the IRS was filing a lawsuit against us for fraud, and issuing a warrant for our arrest. Seriously??….
I was called twice the same day and told that y SS# and driver's license had been used in fraudulent activity and they told me to call #1 to get more information....I knew Social Security doesn't call you, so knew it to be a scam and I told them so on the second call to me
I got the same call. Said his name was Officer Dennis Grey. I called back on another line and there was no answer.
Said I need to return their call or they would proceed with legal action- robocall
