"Clear Capital" SPAM FAX. The number to be removed from their list (for the 20th time in the last few years) (866-685-1570) is not a working number. When I called the "direct number," 646-663-1334 (if interested in a Term Loan), a clerk (ONCE AGAIN) asked what number needed to be taken off their list. I complied. Then I asked to be transferred to the department that handled the DNCList. He stuttered, and said he didn't know how to do that. I said, "Please don't hang up on me". He said he wouldn't. I then asked for a secondary phone number, so I could call his company back, and have the switchboard transfer me to the correct department. He stammered, and then hung up on me. I called back a second time, and a man, identifying himself as "Michael" asked for my Fax Number. When I told him I just did that, but please transfer me to the department who handles Do Not Call Lists OR give me a secondary phone number for the company so I can reach the proper department ... he told me I must not be very busy to be demanding to be taken off their list ... and hung up on me.
