Left an eerie voice mail asking if i knew (insert my name here) and to say yes or press one, or say no and press 2. Definitely some sort of scam.
Phone number texted me with multiple messages saying I owed money to a location where I did get a Covid test, and that they were going to report me to collections. The link looked very legitimate! Called the company who was named and I have no outstanding balance with them.
Have now gotten 3 texts from this number asking for payment but I have never heard of this company!
The phone call was a recorded voice stating they were from the cardiologist office and asked if I was the person and if not have them call immediately. I had my husband call the number from the caller ID and was told not available He then called the Dr. Office and they had no knowledge.
Text with a link claiming debt owed to my doctor. It's not true and I expect the link was malicious.
