I received a call at work. The ID read "Radio Promotion" and they claimed to be signing up people for the KS95's (radio station) money give away. Seeing the ID and local number, plus having listened to KS95 I thought it might be legitimate. Like an idiot, I gave my first and last name and my work email. Then I researched the number because I became suspicious a little too late.
Caller ID reads "Radio Promotion." Since calls can be easily spoofed, I'm doubtful that a radio station truly called. I didn't answer the call. No voice message was left. This is suspicious to me.
call from 651-369-2833. said it was about my inquiry into social security disability benefits. something no one at this number has done.
The caller, aka Chloe, was posing as a potential employer wanting more information. She did the “can you hear me” scam. I asked what company she was representing, then there was a hang up.

Multiple calls but doesn't leave voice message. Caller ID reads "Radio Promotion." Doubt that a radio station would call multiple times, especially when their calls go unanswered. I don't answer calls when the caller is unrecognized. Since calls can easily be spoofed, I'm doubtful a radio station is really calling. This is suspicious to me.
