Received a text that my BofA debit card had been put on hold due to fraudulent activity. I used my ATM card phone number to call BofA and while I was on forever hold, I read these posts, so I ended up hanging up.
Posed as BOFA. Sounded legit, I verified my info(stupid). Card has been cancelled and credit reports have been notified of the attempted fraud.
