Scam - can’t return calls to number, Emory Business Office number is different
yes said it was from my cancer doctors office, if she asked for me right out, why did she need my dob? she should have that information there. I also said I was in Doctor's office a few weeks earlier and made my copay and paid any balance...told her the doctors name, she said there was no doctor by that name. It is his office...what??????
This is a legitimate call service for Emory Billing. I guess they got tired of people hanging up on them so they are asking people to call in. I called and they were able to tell me detailed information about the services I received that weren't listed on any written bills. I just recently got my updated statement from Emory and see that my payment was indeed applied. This number is legit.
I did not return their call as they do not say whom they’re collecting the debt for . But they called a lot .
“This is not a sales call just call concerns an important business matter please return the call to patient accounts _?_?_?_?_?_ at 678-805-6035 this is an attempt to collect a debt and any information obtained will be used for that purpose this call is from a debt collector if you believe me a call here telephone number by mistake please return our call to let us know thank you…”
Received automated caller voice saying they are not sales calls and claiming they are calling from Emory Hospitals and asking to return the callback on the same number.
