I received a call stating that Prosperity Sweepstakes had been trying to inform that I won $750,000 and they were unable to contact me. Gave me numbers to call to receive a cashier's check. I determined it was a scam
Received a call stating I had won a sweepstakes for $750,000 and I needed to call to claim my winnings. Also that the company had been trying to notify me.
Person asked if I was the owner. I asked "how can I help you?" She again asked "are you the owner"---I repeated, how can I help you. She hung up!!
trying to sell breast screening tests - always recorded message - cannot call the number back, says no longer in service, but then next day get the call two or three times again. I've blocked the number, but it gets through somehow.
