Got an email from them confirming my Coin Base invoice, and if I did not authorize this transaction to call 703-592-9865. Scary!
I got the same Geek Sauad notification in my email yesterday. These people are sooo shady! After reading these posts, I realized it was a scam so I called the number anyway, just to see what their angle was. The guy answered "Coin Base Support, how can I help you?". I apologized and told him I was looking for Geek Squad Support. I hung up and called the SAME number right back. I got the SAME guy, and he answered by saying "Hello, Geek Squad Support, this is Mark"
I received an email with this phone number as Coin Base's contact number. The e-mail said I made a purchase and if I didn't I should contact them immediately @ 703 592 9865. Spam!
Got email saying Best Buy has charged you $399 and asked to call 703-592-9865
I received an email with this phone number to call if I did not purchase but coin that included receipt of purchase on email (supposedly from Coinbase). All a scam.
