Robocaller with a voice recognition programmed response switchboard. They used to pretend to be collecting for some kind of "Veterans' Alliance," then a "Firemen's Alliance," and now a "Police Officer' Alliance." Ask for a physical address so you can mail a donation (i.e., investigate), and the machine hangs up.

These people keep calling and hanging up {703-721-4872} because I let the answering machine take the call. I have an unlisted number as well as being on the do not call list since 2009. Sick of this!
