Scam call: recording about Social Security disability filing. Probably trying to gather SS # and other info for identity theft.
I received a call from what sounded like a call center atmosphere. The person asked me if I was interested in a job directly in line with my current profession, for a company I have never applied to. My thoughts are that scammers may be using LinkedIn to gather this type of information.
Call was silent to begin with then a recording from Pete on Social Security disability filing.
They call and stay on the line until machine picks up, then hang up. I called back this time to ask to be removed from the list. They said they would. Hopefully, that’s the end!
