Got a call from 707-366+6209. she said she was from Social Security and had my number right there so I don't need to give it to her. She said I had contacted them about disability retirement. I said I did not and she repeated herself and I hung up.
It will call three times in a row if a person does not answer. Then when you call the number back it either hangs up right away or suddenly turns into a busy signal
called this morning, didn't answer, no message left. Seems that the scammers are up early today wasting peoples time.

My mother received a call from this number "John" from "Apple Support" worked my mother into a frenzy, had remote desktop access - could see her bank account and other critical info, used it to get her to go to the store and try to secure gift cards to help her with the people he proposed were hacking her account... luckily dad called, I called it suspicious and then spoke to "John" called home out and he turned to profanity and threatened to drain their bank accounts -- 5 hours of deception, praying on people who are not tech-savvy.
