I got a call from this number as well stating she was from BBB and when I called her back she did not answer BBB. As they do since I've called the BBB in the past.
Same here. Lied about calling from the BBB. Asked one question ("Is this a non-profit?"), and when she received her answer (that we are), she apologized saying she had the wrong number and hung up. Clearly did not make sense. Perhaps the scam she wanted to try would not work well on a non-profit.
