A female, unknown name, called my wife’s phone number and asked information about my sister in law. She said she needed to get in contact with my sister in law ASAP and provided my wife with a case number out of Texas and gave her this number for my sister in law to call back. This is a total scam. These people already know all the information of the people they targeting cause they knew all of my sister in laws information and they were asking her for money for some unknown bank account she supposedly owed.
A female by the name Cat or Kat said i owed Bank Of America $800 and they will send me documents to fill out and a court date...and then she said she calling on behalf of a courier service by the name of Ridell something and then said they paid BOA for my account....i told her to send me proof then
They told me I owed money from a previous bank account, which is absolutely not the truth. After calling back and asking for a letter of validation, according to the law, they got very rude with me. I believe this is a scam
They called me last month in July about a "non closed" bank account and told me I had to pay 402.67 so I won't face jail time. Called back a month later as of August at my work. Do not send money!!
