Called my work phone asking for me by name. I don't hand that number out to anyone, so I'm not sure where they got it. I asked who they were, the lady said "June". I asked them what company they were with and they hung up on me.
They ask if you can hear them ok. Trying to trick you into saying "yes". This scam used that recording of you saying "yes" to make unauthorized charges, and your "yes" recording becomes you authorizating them to steal your money.
No response from caller. Call is disconnected after approximately 10 seconds. Sounds like a landline disconnect, with audible sound of receiver handheld being hung up.

Got a call from the number and a guy answered and said my name and said he will call me back. Well I dialed the number back and a recorded message came up, “if this is a emergency please hang up and dial 911. I’m sorry but this officer is not available. Press 1 for a call back”. So first though was I have a warrant or something (witch I don’t). So I googled the number and saw all these complaints.
