CALLER WANTING MY EMAIL TO VERIFY AN INDIVIDUAL WANTING TO CASH A CHECK WITH MY NAME ON IT. THEY CLAIMED CHECK BEING FROM PUBLISHERS CLEARING HOUSE. Caller number came across phone ID as a VERIFIED CALLER.
Hangup call where the caller ID just came up as "LANCASTER PA" (with space in between pushing the text to the edges of the screen). NO legit hits for the # on Google either -- just some of those "Blogger.com" sites that seem to have suspicious looking information on them (at least if you believe what they tell Google is on them).
2 political robocalls from this number and caller ID the morning of Election Day. Same message each time -- but at least the caller BOTHERED to leave a message (unlike the schmucks stumping for the OTHER candidate...).
Caller ID said "NAMSCO PLASTICS" -- but since I didn't know why this sort of business would be calling? I looked them up and this is NOT their # -- they aren't even in this area code! Clearly spam....
Hangup call -- no message was left. Didn't recognize # but have gotten a LOT of spam or hangup calls from the 717 area code since January. Caller ID just said "[LAN]DISVILLE [PA]"
