Received a call at 9:33 am claiming it was Xfinity and had info about my acct (too much, a bit scary), but also offered incorrect information including using my maiden name when I only offered my first name (this acct was my husband's before we married 10 yrs ago! I never used my maiden name on this acct, which was the final indicator they were not who they claimed to be. They were trying to offer me $50 off my bill every month for 2 yrs, but I had to pay $150 right now. They tried to get the last 4 numbers in my social security #, but I didn't provide it. Alarm bells were going off from the beginning and I should have hung up right away! Not sure who they are and the call seems to be coming from NYC! At 10:01 am, they called me back from 800-533-5000 asking why I hung up on them and of course, after telling them I knew they were not Xfinity, I hung up again. An internet search shows this new # is from ATK Commercial Products RCBD, 605 Oro Dam Blvd E, Oroville, CA 95965, if it's legit! The company is closed right now, it's a Saturday! Not sure what this is all about, but I am going to stick to my rule to do the calling and not agree to anything when I receive a call!

Xenon Karen Howard colosnopy(the way it was spelled......suspect) and endoscopy. There was more but I can't retrieve the rest. I gathered it was about a group studying these topics and wanting subjects to participate. I did not respond to text. Number will be filed under the number 88 on my phone. Numbered(on my phone) calls are all suspect on my phone and never answered. I am in Ky.
