VERIZON NEW YORK INC.
Got unwanted call from 718-627-0092?
Block this number. Definitely scam. Person said that my computer is disconnected from the server and missing security updates? From what server? My computer is not connected to any server! I am from IT and asked him right away if that was a scam, imagine that he kept fighting! At some point i just thought he was wasting my time and told him that i am from IT and what he is telling me is BS, and hanged up. What is really bad is that number is linked to a Verizon store if you try to call back. It is either they somehow hacking that number, or they registered as Verizon distributors. In any case do not respond, if you have issues with Version call their main customer support line.
Three times in two days. Caller ID denotes Verizon as caller; will not leave message on answering machine.
