I have been getting calls from this number 719-270-2874 also both at home and work, the caller Id like others have mentioned says Firefighter COA. Interestingly I am also getting calls from another number which is only off by 3 from this Firefighter number 719-270-2871 and for this number the caller Id says ASSC POLICE RES, these both numbers seem to be registered to the same address. There was no voicemail left whenever they called. Definitely reeks of scam. Not sure if these numbers can be reported somewhere.

Charity scam, most likely one of these outfits that gives 3% of the money collected to the charity they say they are collecting for and keep 97% of it for "Office Expenses". Noisy call center that seems to run their scam under different named charities. I am saying this based on their phone number and calls that I get from ACCS POLICE RES. ACCS POLICE RES - 719-270-2871 and FIREFIGHTER COA - 719-270-2874.

Caller called at 2:13 PM. Wanting a donation to support Fire Fighters. When I told the caller, that I could not afford to support the organization, because of being on a fixed income. The caller rudely hung up. All these idiots want is the donation, they are rude and very disrespectful if they are told no!

My caller id has fire fight above the number. I have not answered the phone because I have no idea if it is legit. This number calls me early am and just called again at 850PM. I am on the do not call list. This has happened 3 days in a row.
