I'm the previous commentor. After getting a "HealthyTips" txt 30 minutes after the call ended and two more since, I'm 98% certain this isn't a scam. I guess it's part of an outreach program for people who don't use the internet often.

The previous commentors are correct. This is a suspicious number.

I got this call. They just want to know if they can send texts about health maintenance. There doesn't seem to be anything unusual about it and nothing about it (other than the "unknown" phone number) suggests a scam.

Said they were Medicaid and they had "important information for me", and that to continue in English to "please stay on the line", but then nothing was said in another language (Flag #1). Then no actual person came on the line, nor did a please hold message sound, which struck me as odd, as Medicaid wouldn't call me unless it was a live person. (Flag #2) Then asked me to yes or no to "is this (my name, which was correct)" (Flag #3). No one asks you via an automated system to confirm "is this (your name)", they ask you to confirm something that pushed on the button pad. Hung up without saying anything because I remember people trying to scam you with the "Can you hear me" thing, though I never encountered it. Besides, I'm actually about to get employed again, which I'm pretty sure disqualifies me from Medicaid anyway, and since they're a government business, they should be notified of this without me having to do anything (I think). Either way, way too fishy to be legit.

I get said call? Is this legit? I also just got Medicaid.... let me know if you hear anything please. I tried calling back with same result, sounds scampish. As Meducaud always sends a letter if they need something, or has you call number on site. I’m just going to call Medicaid Monday to see if they need anything, if not it’s a scam. I just hate calling them cause takes an hour of my time to figure out if a criminal is trying to defraud me. Wish cops took fraud like this, as well as credit card fraud more seriously. I honestly don’t even think they investigate credit card fraud.

I have received the same automated voicemail from this number multiple times. The caller claims to be from Colorado Access, requests a call back, then provides a personal code "so we'll know it's you". When I call back, the same automated voice answers, claims to be Health First Colorado (Colorado's Medicaid program which I recently enrolled in) and almost immediately requests my phone number or email address so they can provide information about available health & wellness services on a monthly basis. That's when I hung up - Health First Colorado already has that information on file.
