The caller ID indicated Department of Defense in Denver, CO, which was almost plausible because I’m active duty Army and there is an AF base just outside Denver. However, the DoD will leave you a message. And probably send a letter, too. If you’re a civilian, chances are extremely low the DoD is trying to reach you. And again, they would leave a message.
Have called me 3-4 times over the past few weeks. No message. My husband is military and I work for the government, so I'm sure the DOD could reach me if they really wanted to. Blocked the number.
Calls, never leaves message. Caller ID showed this # and Colorado. 720 is one of the area codes for Colorado. No idea who this is or what they wanted. This morning, I answered - nobody there.
Claims calling for support to police in my area ( didn't mention which area). No mention of city state or county or local. Wanted to send me some kind of kit for me "small" donation. Was reading a script and called me ma'am which, being a deep voiced male, I asked him about. Simply answered thanks and hung up. Called ID Shows ,Adt Authorized.
