This came up as Florida Energy. The Gent on the line said a lawsuit was being filed THAT DAY in my county court house BUT if I called the mediation center with the reference number I MIGHT be able to come to a settlement. I called! ???? and spoke to a nice young lady. She was trying to collect an 11 year old debt under threat of a suit. I said the statute of limitations had passed about 5 years ago and wished them well.

Received a phone call from 727-608-4364. They gave me another number to call 1-833-577-1070 SCAM!! Fraud!! When I called the second phone number, 833-577-1070, they stated they were merchant law group and solutions. Or “MSG”. Spoke to a lady named Madison. After I informed her the debt she is trying to collect was paid and settled 12 years ago, she informed me it was not and I would need to go to court and I was being sued over it. The only way to “stop the processing“ of these papers was to set up a payment plan with their arbitration dept. The debt they are trying to collect was off a repossessed car from 2007. THE DEBT WAS ALREADY TAKEN CARE OF AND IS REFECTIVE ON MY CREDIT REPORT AS PAID. I informed her this is a fraud and a scam and it was already paid many years ago. She got very upset and said she would notify the arbitration dept to go forward with suing me to collect money then I since I thought it was a scam. Then she hung up on me. I called back. Got a different person This time I told them I wanted to pay a debt and wanted to set up a payment arrangement with them and gave the case number the first phone number gave me. Was transferred to the “arbitration dept” and guess who answered. The lady I spoke to prior who DID NOT WORK IN THE ARBITRATION DEPT 10 minutes ago. She told me that since I thought this was potentially fraud/scam that she will not set up a payment arrangement with me and prefers to see me in court. Lol I asked for paperwork on this supposed debt and she refused. She cannot even tell me WHO THE ORRIGINAL DEBT was from. The only thing she CAN reference was a group that called me 4 years ago who told me I’d be arrested in 24 hrs if I didn’t pay. I’d be sued. Etc FAKE FAKE FAKE SCAM

????SCAM ALERT!!???? 727–608–4364 called me, today, 10/28/20. Asked for me by my full name and stated there was a lawsuit that was filed against me and needed immediate action. “Time sensitive”. They could not tell me any information on this supposed “case “. Only referred me to the second number to call. Told me to call 1–833–577–1070 And gave me a “court case number” To reference when I called. (Legitimate case numbers in my state do not start with or have the length of numbers in it). THIS IS A SCAM. I have received calls like this in the past. First of all, if someone has submitted a lawsuit against you, they will not call you AND they won’t give you a “heads up” you’re going to be served papers. Someone will actually come to your house and serve you the papers IF YOURE ACTUALLY BEING SUED or lawsuit against you. When a REAL lawsuit is against you, it’s ALREADY BEEN processed and put through the courts. They don’t give you a sudden 24 hours to pay. The “time sensitive” comment. They will claim it is a time sensitive matter because they are referring you to another phone number to call and when you do, they will give you information on an OLD DEBT typically. When you call the second number they provide....They will try to convince you that if you pay whatever amount they’re asking for, you can avoid going to court and being sued. It’s all a scam. ????These people purchase information, your real past debt information, and they will try to scam you and convince you. Don’t fall for it IF YOU ARE REALLY BEING SUED AND WANT TO VERIFY ITS AUTHENTICITY: google your county’s public records. You can search your name and see any active or past court info/lawsuits/etc. Don’t let them scare you They will use your real past info , previous debts etc and try to get money promising it will resolve that debt etc IT WILL NOT
