Received call from a man, “attempting” to sound so professional, saying he needed to speak to me or my legal counsel right away, to hold off “proceeding.” SCAM!!

This number called my husband saying they needed to speak to me or my attorney about an old debt. Wanted payment over the phone before charges were filed. Obviously a scam.

Stated he was going to call this person that person listed names of people I have never heard of so I just hung up

Stated they were giving me a courtesy call before proceeding on an old debt. I said any information can be mailed if it’s legitimate and they said “but when can you make a payment, I need to let the attorneys know”. What a joke

Stated my son or his attorney needed to call them. Have no clue who these people are. Will not call them back.
