Got a call, new my name and what kind of vehicle I drove and stated they were from a local car dealer and asked if I wanted to upgrade my car. I looked on the website of the car dealer he said he worked with and found no such person. Of course, I gave him no info and have since blocked the number.
Called my landline on 15-July-2020 @ 1010am edt. Caller waited until after my vmail announcement finished and then hung-up without leaving a message.
It calls once a day, I didn't answer because I don't recognize it. I blocked it, but it has attempted once daily for the last week
No caller ID, nobody I know, probably a spoofed number. Blocked and reported to my carrier.
The caller says th hey are from "the awards department" and asks if you can hear them okay. The caller is trying to get you to say "yes" in your own voice to record it and use for account scamming. Hang up! Don't fall for it.
