Tried to get my personal information, however they should know who I am since they called me and said that I owed a debt.
They’ve called me a few times, letting it go to voicemail but saying nothing/hanging up. I finally called them back and a real woman answered saying the call may be recorded, and asking if this was a callback in response to a missed call or message. I told her it was actually a request for them to stop calling me, so she initially very professionally said she would see if she could do that for me...then she got back on the phone, changed her tune, and started asking if this was the number for [my full name], and we had a scuffle back and forth about whether that was relevant and that she needed to grant my original request to be placed on the do-not-call, which she said she “couldn’t do,†which is pretty much illegal to deny that request, but eventually she caved and said they would just “find another way to reach [my name],†and we hung up.
