message claims the call was from Apple and that my Apple unit had been used to call oversees and for me to call Apple tech support .....I do NOT own any Apple devices.
Some piece of Sh*t calls me with comp generated VOIP from GA with an upstate NY call back #. Garbage humans who should be ground up for fertilizer.
calls 3 or more times a day, and have asked them to take me off their call list..extended warranty sales...which I've told them it is a brand new vechicle
Recorded message. Call saying a computer subscription for $299 would be auto-renewed, and said I can talk to them now about the charge. said to press 1 to speak to someone. I hung up.
Received call from 770-809-0827 in which th only message was to call that number. Nothing else. Live in Texas.
1-23-2020 Message saying computer subscription expired and $299. would be charges via auto-renewal and I should dial 1 to talk. I didn't reply but checked the # they called from.

For unknown calls, I immediately put the phone on mute & speaker. I answer if I hear it's a person & there are no call center noises in the background. Otherwise, I stay on mute and wait until they hang up. After a few times, robo/call centers learn it's a bad # and you're off their list!
