Claimed to be from Cox Communications -- only after I pushed. Showed up on caller ID as "no name available" and at first identified herself as from "your TV provider." Hung up, called Cox and Cox confirmed they weren't doing anything in my area.
Got a call from my neighbor who is a senior. She was very distraught, as she received a call from this number 785-503-1390. Her caller ID showed Health Partners. They had all of her personal info as far as name, etc. (No credit card or SS#) Said they were from “Xfinity” and she needed to update her system. They would be dropping the price to be 55.00 per month. The phone was then given to “Max”. He said there would be a charge of 249.00 for the update. She said she didn’t authorize a charge. He said they would be sending a truck to her house to pick up all of the boxes, etc. if she didn’t pay. She then realized something was not right and hung up. I told her it is a scam and to report it to Xfinity.
Claims to be Comcast. My cable box was old and needed to send a refresh signal. SCAM . Reported to Comcast
Got a call from this number stating that he could lower my cable bill If I sent him money to a PO box

Got a call from this number, claimed as tech support from Xfinity; said the cable box has outdated software. They need to do an software update on the box remotely with no TV on and lower my bill $30 a months for 24 months. Claim the software was expensive like $1200 (??!!) and they would only charge $199.12 in which Comcast will send a check to "your door step" every month for 3 months. The stupid operator could not even do the math right and repeated the offer/calculation etc for at least thrice in 7 minutes. He repeated exactly like reading on a paper. He also gave his "Department number" (I found down it was a TextNow number), his extension and batch number. Before getting in to payment, I just asked about the "Department" phone number. He could not answer then asked me to hold for billing department then later for his supervisor. The supervisor said they were interntet company; so, they used internet number (!!??). In short, scam call; no need to answer.
