Got unwanted call from 800-300-8008?
AMAZON SCAM robocall said they were confirming an order for a $700.00 cellular phone. Never got past that one-liner.
I have now received 2 calls from this same number claiming to be the Fraud department with Amazon. The guy had my name, email and address information. He claimed I had ordered an IPhone 7 and wanted to know if I am authorizing a purchase for it on my Amazon account. I have not ordered any IPhone nor do I have an Amazon account. I hung up accidentally cause I was trying to call the local authorities but hit the disconnect button instead. Called Amazon they claim not to have a Fraud department and they see no account or any information for me. I tried calling this my back but it doesn’t go through.
