Called saying he was legal services and attempted to get my information
Said I called them and they had a missed call saying I called for legal service but I never did
I had recently searched the internet for some tenant rights laws in my state. All the sudden, I get this 1-800 number and it's a young sounding guy asking me if I had asked for legal advice. I asked where he was located, and he said California. I live in New England, so that was my first clue.. I don't know what it was I just got a bad feeling and asked him to take me off their list. He said fine, and we ended the call. I decided to Google the phone number, just to see if I was correct, and turns out there's a bunch of warnings online about this number being a scam! So glad I followed my intuition..
