Got unwanted call from 800-496-1270?
Got a call from a Carissa from an Energy Company. She spoke so low I couldn't understand her voicemail. She said "You need to call us back, this is important". Glad I checked this site first and blocked her number.
Got a message to call Jeff at 800-496-1270 extension 5005 claiming to be Eversource
got the same call, saying they were from Duke Energy and it was about my electric bill - scam
Got a call frim 1-800-496-1270 claiming to be Duke Energy and said that they wanted to talk about rates and needed to speak to the owner. Was very rude to our employee, laughed at her, yelled at her. Said he has tried to call several times before. He gave the number above, said his name was Eric and gave ext. 3005.
Got a call from 800-496-3017 extension 3017 Called as if they are from Duke Energy and asked to speak with my boss
Rec'd call from 800-496-1270, receptionist gave me msg, said it was Eric from PPL Electric and call was regarding our acct. He gave ext 3044. I checked this site first and decided not to return the call. This is NOT a number used by PPL Electric Co!!!
Scam - Called and said they were with the electric company. Would not tell me who they were with.
Scam - said they’re w the electric company. When you call back the automated system says “thank you for calling. If you know your party’s extension..” no company name. Don’t waste your time calling back

Got a call from Eric, said he was calling from Allego and needed a copy of my Eversource Electric bill and he would explain the call to call him back.
